The ITS-SCF utility provides the following functionality:

Connects to I-FIU through existing Modbus port utilized for the central
computer connection

Modbus can be configured to communicate at data speeds from 1200 Π57600
baud
-
Port selectable from COM1 - COM8
-
Configures ALL relevant general parameters such as PTT, words per burst,
last RTU, interrogation cycle durations, hot standby parameters, FIU mode
(primary, secondary, primary no acknowledge)

Online runtime configuration of the following site specific information:

Intrac address and system address
-
Active input and output group types
-
Active interrogation cycles for each input group
-
Online runtime monitoring of the following site specific information:
-
Input and output data displayed in appropriate format (i.e. digital input
groups are displayed as a group of eight (8) bits (0/1, while analog input
information is displayed 0-32767)

Allows operator to make changes to real-time database for output groups
thus sending controls to the appropriate sites if I-FIU is connected to
live system
-
Allows operator to make changes to real-time database for input groups
thus providing central computer software testing (can be used whether I-FIU
is connected to live system or not)

Offline configuration mode allows the user to setup the FIU parameters
without connecting to a MOSCAD:

Configuration parameters can be saved to a file and uploaded at a later
date
-
After uploading from the archive file, the FIU parameters can then be downloaded
to the I-FIU.

Export feature allows user to store current configuration information including
general FIU communication parameters and all site specific information
of I-FIU to disk
-
Import feature allows user to restore previously saved configuration from
disk to the FIU.
